Left Bundle Branch Block (LBBB) — ECG/EKG Terminology

Definition: A conduction delay or block in the left bundle branch causing the left ventricle to depolarize late. ECG shows a wide QRS (≥120 ms) with broad, notched R waves in lateral leads (I, aVL, V5–V6) and deep S waves in V1–V3.
